Peach & banana smoothie

Smoothies, liks this one by nutritionist Nicola Graimes, are a great way of boosting your child’s intake of fruit and fluids

Cost per smoothie 40p

What do I need?

  • 400 g can peaches in juice
  • 1 large, ripe banana, roughly sliced
  • 4 tbsp natural yogurt
  • Ice cubes, to serve

How do I make it?

  1. Drain peaches, reserving four tablespoons of the juice.
  2. Blend the fruit, juice and yogurt together until smooth.  
  3. Pour the smoothie mixture into lidded beakers and top with ice to keep cool.
