Honey & mustard drumsticks

Delicious and so easy to cook, these chicken drumsticks will be a big hit with hungry kids

* Serves 4

What do I need?

  • 8-10 chicken drumsticks
  • 1 tbsp (20g) clear honey
  • 2 tsp (10g) mustard (preferably grain Dijon mustard)
  • 2 tsp olive or vegetable oil

How do I make it?

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/gas mark 5.
  2. Arrange the drumsticks in a heatproof serving dish.
  3. Mix all the other ingredients together in a bowl to make a paste. 
  4. Spoon the paste over the drumsticks, coating well. 
  5. Cook thoroughly in the centre of the oven for about 30 minutes, turning two or three times (you may need to use a spatula to get under the drumsticks and turn them, as they get quite sticky).
