Expert advice on how to explain things to a child when parents separate
When parents decide to split up, children often find it difficult to understand and adjust. Talking to children and explaining what is happening so that they don’t blame themselves is very important. In this video, Eileen Hayes, NSPCC parenting advisor, gives some advice to one worried dad who wants know how he can help his young son through a separation between him and his partner.
