  • What you need

A paper plate • Glue • Orange crepe paper or tissue paper, or orange paint • Scissors • Black, green and yellow paper • Pens or glitter sticks • Elastic

  • Step 1

Cover the bottom of the paper plate with glue, press on the crepe paper or tissue paper and use scissors to cut around the edge — or paint it orange and leave it to dry.

  • Step 2

Cut a green stalk out of paper, then black and yellow triangles for the eyes and nose and a black mouth with teeth cut out. Stick onto the mask.

  • Step 3

Make small triangle holes for the eyes with the scissors, then draw lines down the mask — use glitter sticks for extra sparkle. Make two holes on each side of the mask, thread the elastic through and knot at the ends.
