Make your own snowflake mobile
This pretty mobile is really easy for you and your kids to make together and makes a great festive decoration
-
What you need
Coloured or white paper • Compass or something circular to draw around, such as a tin • Pencil • Template • Glue – plain or glitter • Sequins
-
Step 1
Cut circles of the same size from the paper of your choice.
-
Step 2
Fold the circle in half, keeping the fold at the bottom. Then fold it into three equal slices.
-
Step 3
Draw out the pattern then cut out the areas that are shaded. Make sure you leave some unshaded areas across the folds or your snowflake will fall apart.
-
Step 4
Unfold your snowflake and decorate it using sequins and (glitter) glue. Wait for it to dry before decorating the other side.
-
Step 5
Attach the snowflakes together using thread or ribbon, and hang your mobile from the ceiling or in a window so that it spins and twinkles.
