Some older babies and young children need help to give up breastfeeding, especially if it has become a comfort habit. Eileen Hayes MBE, NSPCC parenting advisor, has some advice for one mum whose 18-month-old son is still breastfeeding at bedtime and wakes up to be breastfed at night.
