Many babies go through a phase when they may bite, smack, scratch or hit their siblings or other children, or even adults. Usually this is experimental behaviour, and they don’t realise they're hurting others — but you can help teach good habits from early on. In this video, NSPCC parenting advisor, Eileen Hayes MBE, gives helpful advice to one worried mum who wants to know why her baby's doing this, and what she can do.
